I am a dual-PhD student in Central Eurasian Studies and History. My research is focused on the historiography of the steppe region of Kazakhstan and the Syr Darya region. I am particularly interested in the 16th-19th centuries after the Uzbek/Jochid Conquest of Central Asia.
